The participating NGOs usually work on topics or come from areas that the partner schools want to deal with within the framework of their partnership. They provide the participants with valuable knowledge, contacts and material and support them in developing a suitable programme for the encounters. They also help the schools to introduce the themes and projects of the school partnerships into everyday school life and to anchor them in the classroom.
Through cooperation with NGOs, the participating students learn about civil society involvement and are shown ways in which they can make a contribution to a just world not only within the school partnership but also beyond.
